Al Grega, IBM

December 9, 2008 FASUG Meeting

Web services are the lowest common denominator in application to application connectivity and are quickly becoming the number one interest area among IBM i customers. This session will walk you through the options available from IBM leveraging technology that many IBM i shops are already entitled to. We will overview the following technology and compare the different solutions so you can make an informed decision when you need to deploy web services in your shop:
  • IBM i integrated Web Services Server for RPG (part of IBM i)
  • IBM Web Services Wizard (part of WDSc and RDi SOA)
  • HATS Visual Macro Editor and Web Services
