Programming with iSeries Access -- Windows, Wireless, or Linux
Are you creating desktop-to-iSeries applications? Thinking about doing so? Would you like to know about all the PC middleware provided with your iSeries release at no additional charge? In this session, you will learn of the many enablers provided in: iSeries Access for Windows (such as ADO/OLE DB provider, ODBC driver, ActiveX automation objects and controls, Wizards for use with Visual Basic, etc) which can be used with Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, and XP. iSeries Access for Wireless, a new product in V5R2, provides enablers (built on the IBM Toolbox for Java technology) for developing applications for wireless devices. ODBC Driver for Linux, is another new product in V5R2, that enables you to develop applications that run on Linux and work with iSeries database information.
