Creating Web-enabled 5250 Applications using WDSc for iSeries
The newest release of the iSeries development tools replaces VisualAge for Java and WebSphere Studio with new Eclipse based tools for authoring, designing, running, debugging and deploying Java code and Web applications. This session discusses the details of these new tools - including the replacements to WebSphere Test Environment, Enterprise ToolKit for AS/400, and iSeries extensions to WebSphere Studio. This is the beginning of an integrated new world. Come see what the excitement is all about.

Alison Butterill   is an IBM Certified Consulting I/T Specialist working for the IBM Software Development Lab in Toronto, Canada. She has worked in the mid-range area for more than 20 years holding a wide variety of positions at IBM, from field support to Technical Education. For the past 8 years, Alison has worked for the Toronto Development Lab as a Technical Advocate for the latest AD Tooling. Throughout her career, Alison has been a specialist in the areas of Application Development and Database. Alison is a frequent speaker at both North American and European COMMON Conferences, and has won numerous speaker medals. She is a frequent speaker at user group meetings and other events around the world.
