iSeries Access for Windows: What's New?
iSeries Access for Windows (formerly called Client Access Express for Windows) made its debut in 1999 (V4R4). In 2001 (V5R1) so many new capabilities were added that it more exciting than its initial release, and now we've announced even more capabilities coming in V5R2!
Come to this session to hear about new functions being provided to improve Windows users' productivity when connecting to iSeries systems. You will learn about the enhancements to added to 5250 emulation, data transfer, file serving, application development, and much more.
Carole Miner is a Senior Software Engineer in the iSeries Client Integration area in the Rochester, Minnesota laboratory. Carole has held a variety of programming, management, and planning roles on Rochester developed products. Since 1988, Carole has mainly focused on client integration technologies, and currently provides support for the iSeries Access family of products. She is a frequent speaker at iSeries conferences worldwide and has published many articles for iSeries technical magazines.
