Moving to the Web with RPG
See how RPG IV and ILE are an effective “next step” on your route to the Web, and how RPG IV can act as a effective business logic language for Web applications. This session will review the logical steps to move from existing RPG applications to a browser based application and ultimately out to the Internet. Some Java and Web terminology will be covered, however, the focus will be on the IBM tools for moving from traditional RPG to Java and the Web.

Linda Cole   is a Certified Consulting AS/400 Specialist. She currently works in the IBM Toronto Lab as a member of the AS/400 Application Development Tools team. She has worked with IBM in the midrange marketplace since 1979, in technical support, implementation, education, consulting and sales roles.
