Domino in Action
In this session we will demonstrate Domino/400 and how it fits into an enterprise. We will show the different messaging client choices, (ie. Notes, iNotes web access,iNotes for Microsoft Outlook). We'll also review high availability and workflow capabilities of Domino.In addition we will explore some of the Domino add-in products such as Sametime, Quickplace, DOLS (Domino OffLine Services). We will also explore the integration of legacy applications and the use of portals to improve your business strategy!

Tracy Smith   has been with IBM for 22 years and has worked with the AS/400 since 1989 when he joined the Poughkeepsie, NY branch office as a System Engineer from the Poughkeepsie lab site. He has been a leader in bringing PC's and Client Server computing to the AS/400 and was the North Eastern US area Technical Product Specialist on Client Access and the FSIOP. In 1996 he was assigned the team leader in North Eastern US Marketing and Service for the introduction of 64 bit RISC based computing on the AS/400. He has been working on Lotus Notes since its introduction on the AS/400 in 1996. The last two years he was the Domino briefer in the Rochester Executive Briefing Center and as of March 2000 has joined the ATS (Advanced Technical Support) team for the AS/400 where he is the team leader for the AS/400 Domino Competency Center in Rochester.
