Getting to e-business
It is no secret the AS/400 has invested heavily in Java and that Java needs to be in every business plan. However, there are powerful tools to help get business information on the Web fast. This session reviews the Web Serving and TCP/IP capabilities of the AS/400 and the tools to get your applications on the Web fast: 5250 Gateway products, Java Emulators, Java Screen Generators, DB2 UDB Access Tools, Domino, Commerce products, 4GL's and of course Java. We finish with product positioning and explain where you can get more information.

Al Grega is responsible for marketing of the AS/400e as an e-business server in North America. He has held a number of positions including Operating System Developer, Customer Briefing Manager, AS/400 Services Specialist, and AS/400 Technical Sales Specialist. Al has also taught at the State University of New York at Farmingdale as part of their adjunct faculty.
